Headaches, Jaw Pain & Ongoing Concussion Symptoms

How I Can Help

Headaches, jaw pain and ongoing concussion symptoms can be difficult to live with, especially when they affect concentration, sleep, energy, eating, or day-to-day comfort. It can be frustrating when symptoms persist or when it is not clear why they are happening.

Symptoms around the head and jaw can be influenced by many different structures and systems. The neck, jaw, upper back, nervous system, fascia and breathing patterns can all affect how comfortable this area feels.

At InnerBalance Physiotherapy, I take a gentle and detailed approach to assessment. I consider the relevant structures around the head, jaw, neck and upper back, while also looking at their relationship to the rest of the body. Sometimes the area that needs attention is not the same as the area where symptoms are most noticeable.

Treatment may include gentle hands-on therapy, cranial, fascial, or neural techniques, breathing awareness, advice and exercises where helpful. The aim is to reduce restriction, improve freedom through the tissues, and support greater comfort and ease in how your body feels.

New or worsening symptoms following a head injury should be medically assessed before physiotherapy.
